Call for Presenters
Due by November 30, 2018
Are you interested in presenting at the 9th Tribal Land Staff National Conference. The conference will be held March 26-28, 2019 at the Mystic Lake Center, located in the Shakopee Mdewakonton Sioux Community near Minneapolis, Minn.
The conference will offer 24 sessions regarding important issues facing tribal land professionals. The theme for 2019 is Unifying Indian Country to Go Beyond Boundaries.

We are looking for a good mix of presentation styles. Proposals may provide panel, hands-on activity/demonstration, lecture or round table experiences ranging from 60 - 90 minutes and targeting audiences at beginner, intermediate, advanced, or legal (CLE) levels. For 2019 we’re looking for more hands-on workshops allowing attendees to work through some of the problems or issues facing Indian Country.
We are open to suggestions as well as speakers to address some of the topics listed below.

- Reservation Proclamations

- BIA Form Updates
- Leasing v. Assignments

- Land Buy-Back Program
- Legislative Updates
- Cultural Conservation Easements
