NTLA Mission and Goals

Meeting the needs of tribal land professionals

The National Tribal Land Association started as a vision of what Indian Country could become if those working for tribes in land-related positions had opportunities to come together for learning, sharing, collaborating and networking with one another. As the organization continues to grow, our mission and goals stand true to the needs of tribal land professionals.

“Create unity in Indian Country for tribal land professionals and be a voice for the protection of Indian lands.”

-NTLA's Mission Statement

NTLA's vision is an Indian Country where tribes are protecting and managing their homelands, where tribal land professionals have the knowledge, skills and capacity to address the many challenging land ownership and management issues that tribes face in protecting and managing these precious lands.

Our Mission

Create unity in Indian Country for tribal land professionals and be a voice for the protection of Indian lands.
